The game gives the player the possibility to create their own world. There are a few steps the player needs to pass before the game begins. The first step is a tutorial that the player should try. It will explain the mechanics of the game and its rules. Basically, there are no rules, plot, or obligations. But there are still consequences of the player’s acts. After that, the game begins. The player will use the world to make plans come to fruition. The player can create their own world or use the ready-made one. The last is created automatically after each entering the game. However, the player still can make up their personal one. Firstly the world looks totally abandoned and the player has to populate it with living creatures – animals and people. The player also has the option to settle magical races of creatures there – elves, dwarves, and orcs.

The living creatures there are living automatically. That means that the player can not rule them directly. They will get the resources, construct houses, make their own cities, and unite them into countries. The countries will, in turn, interact with each other – through trade, treaties, or even wars. The player can influence non-playable characters indirectly. For example, the player can cause different natural disasters like a flood, an earthquake, a forest fire, or a meteorite fall. The player can also cause a plague or force two countries to go to war and use nuclear weapons against each other. As mentioned before, the player cannot directly control characters, but there is an exception – a huge sea monster is available for the player to control. The monster looks like a sea crab, which not only can trample villages and whole countries, but also burn out the inhabitants of the world with laser beams from its claws.

There are other fantastic races in the game. For example, the player can use sceletons or zombies to attack the other creatures. They can make up a huge army and make the world war. Additionally, they can use UFOs and aliens for this purpose. The powers of the player are not limited only to these features – they can use madness, for example, so the non-playable characters will go bananas and do different weird stuff. Or they can cause the plague in the world. If the player decided to be a kind god, they can use good stuff like the blessing so the NPCs will find more resources – wood, stone, gold – and food, and live better.
